About Us
Undercover Academy is the ultimate training program for Undercover Officers assigned to work Narcotics or Online Predator investigations.
Undercover Academy offers five, one-day classes. Students can choose to attend one class or multiple classes depending on their professional needs.
The instruction in each class builds upon the training in the additional classes. While the classes can be taken individually, it is recommended that all classes be completed for the total training experience.

Upon completion of the Undercover Drug Investigations class, the student is given access to the online Undercover Academy document library. Here they can access all the necessary forms to organize and streamline their investigations.
Undercover Academy tactics were created to maximize the efficiency of investigations and minimize the risk to Undercover Officers. Students learn universal undercover principles that are effective for ANY size agency.
Undercover Academy instructors were chosen for their expertise in topics ranging from undercover investigations to tactical missions. Their combined years in Law Enforcement exceed 100 years of experience.
Lead Instructor
Detective Andrew Jicha (Ret), a 26-year veteran of the Waukesha Police Department, is the founder of Undercover Academy and PACE Police Training.
Detective Jicha was employed as a detective for 19 years and worked undercover 15 of those years. During that time he conducted more than 1,500 undercover operations with narcotics, online predator and human trafficking investigations.
Detective Jicha was also a field training officer, tactical team member, crisis negotiator, ICAC investigator, and background investigator.
In addition to Undercover Academy, Detective Jicha is the creator of PACE Police Training.

Detective Jicha is currently a Law Enforcement Instructor at Waukesha County Technical College where he teaches Criminal Justice Studies, new recruits, in-service and specialized training.
